They have orders for 10 times more than I can possibly produce. It's going to be a long time before they have any extra. The brass is the problem. Like there isn't any and all brass must be made out of Military 223 cases.

Tonight I got the OK to produce all the 300 BO sub-sonic loads that I can. Also they want me to fill a monthly order of test loads for a AR upper manufacture.
I didn't plan on this being a full time job but it's fun. Now we're talking about a Africa trip for plains animals in say 2 yrs. With these new funds I won't have to sell anything or take savings out of the bank.

That's pretty cool. Maybe you can negotiate for a SHOT show trip as well...guns, booth babes...Vegas?

I bowed out of the Shot Show scene. I can no longer walk that far. I've been to the Shot Show 5-6 times in the past and I'm burned out. That show is a full time job of 3-4 day continued walking. Impossible to see it all. My son and I used to go for business and walk and talk business in suit and tie for 2 days and only visit the dealers we had a interest in for new products. Then on the 3rd day we just goofed off and looked for personal pleasure.
I don't even walk around the gunshows when I set up. If it doesn't walk past my 14 tables I don't see it. I do have customers that know my main interest and if the see something they tell me if they didn't buy it first. There isn't many of what I call "tickle your fancy" items that I need or want anymore.
If anyone can get a invite I would recommend that you go. My 18 yr. old grandson is going. Poor kid will be lonely setting in his room in the evenings as my son will be setting at the blackjack table to the wee hours of the morning. He never fails to pay for his whole trip at the tables.
I did meet Hank Williams there and he became a good customer when I was having custom molds made for rifles.

More than likely JR. SR died back in 53.

It was Jr. I was in the 3rd grade when hank Sr. died.
Hank Jr. hung out at the Lyman reloading booth. The Lyman people kept all the sight seers at arms length away from him and it was by invintation only. We were a Lyman Dist. so knew all the Exec. at Lyman. Jr. is a real nice down to earth guy.
Hank Jr. became a good customer of mine back in the late 80's into the 90's. I was having Lyman remake for me discontinued rifle bullet molds. Hank is a hell of a shooter and enjoys long distance shooting with pistol or rifle.
It was funny the way he ordered. He had his office girl call and he would be standing there beside her telling her to tell me what he wanted to order. Never got on the phone with me. If there was a delay and backorder I had to call back for the Credit Card number. He bought a lot of molds and I would make him a custom top punch for the sizing press.
Oh the good old days.

I met Hank jr at the Ohio gun collector's show one time. He had a table of Colts but I think he was there more to buy then sell.

I saw him at jamboree in the hills back in '05. He was so hammered that he couldn't remember his own lyrics. Pissed me off cause I spent all that money to be there.

What did you expect Chad? It's a family tradition. lmao

Have you seen his son Hank 111? He's into more Country Hard Rock. I guess he's followed the family tradition of drugs, booze and wifes.
The wife got me a Senior Life Membership to the Ohio Gun Collectors for Christmas. It was a surprise.
