Anyone see the movie yet?

I just watched the interview and that's a must see movie. I had seen part of the 60 Minutes interview.
One thing I don't understand about movies is the non-true live happens. In the interview he states he was unable to walk but in the movie they have him walking around at the rescue scene. I wish the director would have explained that.

They do explain it in other interviews, the same holds true with other parts. They cant recreate everything that happened that day, so they added the scenes the best they could. The helicopter scene is another example.

I would recommend reading his book before watching the movie.

OK. The Black Hawk Down does the same thing between the book and movie.

MK111 - No comparison to the Black Hawk Down book/movie. This was a much different experience. Like others have said, with Lone Survivor, the movie isn't as good as the book (but that's true in all cases)

I would tell any civilian they need to go see this film, read the book, and enjoy your freedoms.

Jack touched on the not so good part of this story for combat veterans. There are thousands upon thousands of these situations that have happened through the years. I don't feel and would never feel it was right to tell any veteran prior or past that this film is a must watch. For me it is a very powerful reminder of what is fought for and what is lost in the blink of an eye.
