I need to find some time. If I had some time I would find you your trailer for $600-1000. They are out there but you need to do some serious digging to find them. These would be used, possibly needing paint or new decking, but cheap. Check the auctions. Farm auctions or equipment auctions is one place where they can be found.

For new prices in your description, $1600 seems pretty reasonable.

Try rock's trailer sales in grove city. They have some pretty good new prices and usually a good selection of used trailers. It sounds like a bit of a drive but you can check their inventory online and it might be worth it.

I'll give another nod to Hill Equipment. had them build me a tandem axle trailor back in 2001 for hauling osage logs and firewood. price was unbeatable, fabricated on site. built right. heavy duty all around. cost me $750 for 5x10.

I found it funny the guy didn't take down the old number. As much traffic as OGF gets, I know I'm not the only one who thought how can I mess with this woman, but I let it go lol.

So that's why when I asked for the weight rating on the trailer, she sent a bathroom scale maxed out! lol

Well, I decided yesterday afternoon that I was tired dicking around. The water tank is ready for pickup, so I went out this morning and bought a 12' Utility Trailer with dual axle brakes and a 7k rating. Headed to Lancaster now to pick up the tank and I will be good to go!

Thanks for all the help fellas, I sure do appreciate it!

Greg, you ever look into building a cistern??? Well might be able too keep up once you fill it up....

I put in a 2000 gallon cistern back in March of last year. Everything is hooked up to pump water from the well to the tank, but the pump locked up in the well back in October and I didn't want to mess with it in the cold. As soon as it warms up, I'm gonna install a new pump and put it on a timer, but I don't expect it to help much. I would be surprised if our well produced 100 gallons a day.
