Lazy day doing schedules and estimates with the wife today. Decided to kettle smoke some ribs. Came out perfect. Oil, rub, smoke for two hours, wrap and cook another 2 hours, finish/sauce in one more hour and (sauce for the kiddos)....Mmmmm. uploadfromtaptalk1395097026080.jpguploadfromtaptalk1395097046771.jpg

They had a perfect bite.

I've been thinking about it. My uncle has all the tools I'd need to fab something. I'm no expert, nor stranger to the cutting torch and welder if needed.

Three one inch holes, ball valve, six 1/4 inch holes and either a Weber grill lid or drum lid. Two webers grates.

I am doing a build soon and will do a tutorial.

Have my UDS (Ugly Drum Smoker) built. Thing does a great job of smoking. Cooked 3 racks of baby backs and a spare. Also threw on some candied sweet potatoes. Turned out great.

Ribeyes & shrimp !

In all honesty, I didn't know whether to post this here or in What's good TOO. Today, I went back to church ( a new one ) for the first time in many years & I really feel good about it. I got some long overdue yard work done, & the dog didn't run thru the electric fence ... all this in one day, so life is very good.
