Being outta vacation days and calling in "sick".

I'm outta vaca but I have sick days and I'm feeling a little bit of buck fever coming on.

Hell, I'm still on vacation since the beginning of October ! So, no need to call off. haha

Can't think of a time where I did it but I sure would consider it. Thank goodness I usually can take days off just about any time for any reason which also helps.

I only get PTO...my boss says there is 24/7 and he doesn't care how i get my 40 in....now my wife on the other hand, i'm pretty sure she would come unglued if she found out i skipped work to hunt...but if I did, she'll have to get over that

I haven't yet, I found out a long time ago to take a best guess at when the good days wI'll be and put in for those days off. Glad I did, I have this Friday through Monday off and just found out today that our job is expected to work all weekend. I don't have to though because these days have been scheduled for months.

I'd like to shoot my buck on Friday so I can go ahead and work the weekend for the overtime.

I never have. I do get some personnal time/ sick time. I normally just tell my boss my out of office will be up for a few hours, and I go hunting. I also get a few extra days for PTO because I work a lot of hours, and weekend sometimes!
