My freshman year they tried that and threatened anyone who skipped with ISS. Apparently they didn't have room for 100+ kids in ISS cause we never got it. The next year and every year since, we've had today off as part of Thanksgiving break.

And rain it did. Walked out in light misting rain at 6:30AM. At 8:00 it starts to rain lightly and at 8:30 it's pouring. Rained off and on all day until 3:30PM.
But I stayed high and dry in my tower. Even a little warm too. Damn this tower is nice. I plan to insulate the inside next year and cover the inside with black driveway cloth I have. Not sure why as the deer don't seem to mind the bright inside as long as you don't move.
I was getting a little concerned about getting back across my creek but it was OK.
