Hebbardsville..
Been plowing since midnight. After 3 swipes on the route, it looks like we've accomplished nothing. Everyone be careful out there. In athens we have about 4 inches in some spots.

Sorry there were no action shots. Here are some of the trucks back at the shop resting. Put all 4 backhoes with 12' push boxes and one of the skid loaders with 10' push box to work last night as well. Wasn't too bad a night. Stopped snowing late. Always makes it tough to clear the businesses before they open, but we accomplished it. One phone call for a driveway customer because my driver forgot her walks. That is fixed. Overall, pretty smooth for a first full plow event. Now let's let the sun do it's magic and burn off any remaining moisture before temps drop again.

And the beat goes on. . . .

We haven't had ridiculous quantities of snow this year, but we have had a LOT of snow events. Seems like it keeps bringing .2" or .6" with a 2-3" snow thrown in for good measure once a week or so. I don't want to complain as it does bring us work. I will admit though, I am starting to get a little burnt out. I am NOT looking forward to spring. Spring brings a different kind of busy I can live without. A week or two off from snow would be welcome. A week or so of "seasonable temperatures" would be welcome also. Upper twenties or lower thirties would be outstanding!

Thanks. Seems unnecessary after knocking one down with a 20+ yr old SP1 tonight. lmao

Still snow down. Temps appear to be staying cold all week. Should be a great time to enjoy the outdoors some more in the chase of more coyotes this week.

So last night the wife and I eat at Red Lobster in Lima, and after we cruise to Wal Mart which is right beside it. Upon entering the parking lot, someone in a little rice burner comes flying around the end of a row of vehicles, forcing my wife to nearly run into a Bobcat and a John Deere backhoe with a snowbox on. Not only does my wife curse at the driver, she also adds this nugget: "and why the fugg are those fucking pieces of shit equipment parked here at Walmart? Are they too stupid to take them back?" I then informed her that they are left there to make it easy on them to get there and promptly remove snow from the lot so hillbillies like her and the rest of Lima can buy from China. I did however tell her I would send the owner a strongly worded message, so here goes: Phil, I don't think it is really possible to park your equipment any further away out there, so for the sake of my lunatic wife and the 16 year old gangster wannabe driver of the Mazda who wanted to play bumper cars, could you please park those pieces of equipment perhaps down the road at the fairgrounds? :smiley_crocodile:
