I would have to think Jesse is right on this one. Urban and gang probably gave him a reality check: "Brax- You will NOT make it as an NFL QB. You want the shot? Listen to this plan! We are going to try to win 3 Heisman trophies in one season." lol

I think Jones made a mistake not going pro. I don't see him being the starting QB next year and even if he is his stock will never be higher than it is now. He would need to have almost a perfect season to make more money in the draft next year than he would have this year.

I think Braxton goes to h-Back/wildcat like we saw Jalin Marshall run this year. Jones will be the starter for the first half of the year while JT slowly comes back from injury and they debate a redshirt. Jones has yet to make his rookie mistakes, which will result in him getting pulled for JT.

But none of that matters because Elliot wins the Heisman trophy.

Someone is screwing up big time. If I were Braxton family I would recommend transferring to a program like FSU and get paid going pro. As it is now as an H - back he won't get paid shit.

Jones will have no higher stock than he does now. He shoulda left.

Both leaving...maybe not but someone should have IMHO.

I think BM will transfer to FSU or Oregon and start as QB. Make his run for the Heisman and prolly get hurt somewheres through out the season. I can't see BM taking a back seat to anybody and he's a great athlete but not the best QB on the team.

Based on his enrollment in spring classes and what he said yesterday, I don't think that will happen. Most OSU sources seem confident he is coming back.

Jones did the right thing as a young man. Money and fame isn't everything. His decision to stay is very admirable and IMO, was the right choice. The NFL and that $ doesn't last forever. He will need an education at some point in his life.

He is also strengthening the guarantee of getting a solid career in the OSU family network as a coach, athletic department, car salesman, John Deere dealer, etc etc... (see Craig Krenzel, Bobby Carpenter, etc)
