How do you like your .35 vs the 30-30?

The .35 is slower and not as flat shooting. They are both deer and black bear cartridges that lend themselves well to hunting in the brush. If i was to have one or the other it would be the .30-30. A 170gr out of the 30-30 i feel will make anything that you'd shoot a .35 at dead enough. I wouldn't mind replacing that rifle with a 38-55 if the chance came up. I know there are some big fans of the .35 but i think it is almost overkill with no benefit. Slower than 30-30 but not enough power to do the work of the big bore lever action rounds. The neck on 30-30 also make it easier to reload.
