Worst Season ever, looking for a rebound this year

2014 was my worst hunting season since I started hunting 24 years ago.

It started with not killing a single bird last spring, when I normally kill 2. I hunted longer and harder than ever before. I saw lots of birds and heard lots of gobbling but just never had a good opportunity to sling one over my shoulder. That broke a 12 year streak of harvesting spring birds.

My fingers are crossed that I can get back on track this spring.

That's why they call it hunting. Bird bagged or not I hope you enjoyed the season. I didn't take a bird last spring either, but had fun trying. Hope you have better luck this season.

Oh I had fun, it was frustrating as hell at times but it was still fun!

Last year sucked for me too. Very limited time and one of my best spots was timbered hard. But this year will be better (I say say the same thing about the farm every year too:smiley_bril
