A couple years ago I picked up this Ruger in .470 Nitro Express. Loaded ammo runs $12-20 per shot so reloading is a neccesity. The rifle came with 40 cases.
The case is 3 1/4" long so it was a real pain in my old RCBS press. Had to unscrew the dies each step because the press didn't have enough clearance. I picked up this Lee for a reasonable price and it has more clearance.
My load is 85 grains Reloader15. 85 grains doesn't fill the case so I need a filler. I'm using foam backer rod.
Even this press doesn't have enough clearance for bullet seating but this press has a bushing that has interrupted threads and comes out with a quarter turn.
