Look up Buck Norris in Bend, Oregon. Nobody did but if someone had shot that buck people would've flipped out
i used to hunt in Stow, Ohio which is very suburban and located next to Kent State, I got permission from some home owner to hunt a woods that was within City Limits (about 3 acres big) and illegal as hell, but the owners wanted the deer gone. I wonder what would have happened if I shot a 180 class and not flop tops. lol

Hahaha I don't think you would've been able to brag about that one without getting in some trouble. If only they let you hunt deer in the suburbs I could go after this guy...

Great article. All these protesters would be begging for someone to kill a lion if it was loose in their neighborhood. I've never understood why our society as a whole cares more about animals than human beings.

I have read pages and pages of articles about the hunt and I am uncertain of what the action was unlawful. I think that the baiting was possibly illegal, but according to one article it is a common practice to certain extent. I don't think these protesters even understand why they are mad other than a pretty lion was killed. Honestly I just think the media needed to distract us from more pressing issues such Iran and etc.

I read up on it and baiting is legal however he shot him in a zone that allotted no lion tags, that's the illegal part.

If you have the local natives on the jury he will be found not guilty in about 30 seconds. Probably give him a reward payment. Like said if you don't live with the man eater animal it's real cute, if you live in fear with the man eater it no longer is cute.

And that's on the guide, they know all the rules (at least they're supposed too) and that's why he paid the 55k.....

The protesters just wants to hang everyone to satisfy their anti hunting ideas. If Cecil was so great then he should have been smarter not to fall for some bait.

In all honesty the worst that would happen to the dentist legally is a fine, without the public out-cry. HIs life over now.

I seen on the news the protesters sprayed painted his garage door 'lion killer'. He may have also closed his office. Hopefully just for awhile.
