Update on Rip, I dropped him off at Med Vets in Dayton, yesterday the Oncology Department ran tests on him all day. Good News, the cancer is isolated to the spot on his tail. We caught it early so it had not had a chance to spread, they will remove part of his tail to ensure the cancer cannot spread. He is expected to make a full recovery, we will continue with quarterly check ups going forward. He is going to have a tail like a Weimer, but hey maybe it will prevent him from getting cold tail. So next Hunt Test season when you see a stubby tail Lab, that will be Rip......lol Been a real rollercoaster ride for the last few days! Not got to get him healed up and he will still make the trip to NoDak.
