Thx guys,Milo i have 2 recurves so will most likely end up with another one.
I hear ya on the takedown but am really partial to the looks of a one piece bow.lol
Have been looking at the different widows and have a couple in mind just have to make up my mind the type of wood i want ,prob take me a month to decide.
I like their crossgrain graybark and the black and ebony bows, pretty sharp looking.
Also the zebrawood and zircote are a good combo.
Already have a graybark so will prob do something different. I guess it sounds like i will prob have a third recurve.lol

Great update buddy!
You've lit a fire in me dude! I have shot quite a bit lately. One thing I've noticed is. After shooting 20-25 yards, that once you step up to 15 yards. It's a lot easier to group em tight!
I haven't shot any broad heads yet.

That guy has a good set of videos that you should watch. He does a good job. I'm really liking this bow design I built and I shoot it pretty well. I may have to make a few more like it this winter. Hope I can get some more time to get a couple done

Have either of you tried HALO center serving instead the typical center serving material? If you haven't then I suggest you try it sometime as it will clean up your release a lot

Still been shooting every chance i can. uploadfromtaptalk1442160597339.jpgBeen knocking the tennis balls around or getting close.uploadfromtaptalk1442160652535.jpgMy 20 yd groups are real good.uploadfromtaptalk1442160652535.jpgMy 28 yd shots not too bad.
I know i will most likely limit any shots i get on a deer at 25 yds and under.
I did do some shooting at 35 yds but my groups really open up at that distance shooting at a target.uploadfromtaptalk1442160852342.jpg I do alot better shooting at the tennis balls at further distances.
I guess i am as ready for season as i am going to get, have all the stands hung in good locations,i hope.
Have seen a few good bucks i wouldnt mind getting a crack at.
Using the recurve it wont have to be the biggest one just a nice older respectable buck.
