Live from the stand!

Decided to get in stand early due to not being able to wait from excitement and also they are taking corn off nearby so I'm hoping they will be moving. This is the first time I've ever got to hunt early season. I'm loving it. Yeah the warm weather doesn't help but it's nice to not have to dress like the kid from a Christmas Story and still freeze lol. Got in stand about 3

Been settled in on a set for about 20 minutes. I haven't been in this set yet. With this many leaves on I don't have much of a shooting lane through to the path I will more than likely see deer on.



Oh well, I'd be surprised if I don't have a close encounter of some sort.

Hung new set earlier today after observing the bean field last night. As I was walking in I thought that it felt like an early movement kinda night. Sure as shit, round the tree line, there's deer under my stand. Hope it's early enough they will be back before dark.

This day last year it was 41 degrees at my house at 10am. Just interesting how warm it is this year

Saw 5, all slick heads.... All way off and in the alfalfa field.... Heading out again in the morning too the same stand too see if they meander their way back thru....
