Saw three does in the field as I walked in around 5:00. They didn't see me so I hunkered down in the grass but they wouldn't come quite close enough for a shot. I got in the stand around 6:00 but didn't see anything else. It's just a good confidence booster to see deer though as this is the first year I'm really hunting much and finding my own spots

Always exciting to see deer, especially after not seeing any for a few sits

Didn't see any deer tonight. I also found out that it wasn't a yote, it was a feral cat. He circled around and came out about 20 minutes before end of shooting light. Too far to take him out. Maybe next time lol.

Had a decent buck under me thrashing a tree while it was still dark. Dropped a bow hook on my stand and he snorted so loud, he woke up the neighbors! LOL. Forgot to zip my pocket!

I'm behind my parent's place on a doe mission. It would take a monster for me to shoot a buck today! Got enough squirrels back here to feed an army!

Single buck under me in cover of darkness. Could hear him methodically move around. Worked a scrape. Did some grinding on a tree. Finally thrashed a smaller tree and exited. As slow and cautiously as he covered the ground, I don't think 1-2yr old deer. He spent 10-15 min covering a 50 Sq yd area. Then disappeared 10min before legal light. Nothing since.

Good luck Jesse.
