So anyway, the same guy who went around telling this story ( he's an older retired type ) decided to get on another guys fairly brand new ATV with his 30 yr some son & go for a ride. When they finally came back, he started telling those of us sitting around outside that they overturned the ATV after a freak turn of the wheel & that his leg was pinned underneath. Fortunately, his son was there to lift a wheel somewhat to free him. He was telling the story in the same mannerism of that joke & of course nobody believed him. We started hootin & holler'n at him & his son when we realized one side of the handle bar was bent. Then we took a closer look at his son whose arm was all scratched up & bleeding. Every camp I went to this year ( 3 ), someone has come close to paying a big price. The first camp, that guy had to be flown to Columbus after being taken to our hospital. This guy here was in pain, but even felt worse when he had to tell the owner what happened. Fortunately, the guy's pain subsided a few days later & everything else was ok & the handlebar was bent back to being right.
My wife will never ever let me have an ATV now...lol
