I did too, Phil! Dang. I was so bummed to miss tonight after this morning's sightings, but that is hunting. I thought for sure the IKS stuff would be running full speed tonight.

My ass should have never left my stand. It was on this morn. Damn halloween.

Hoping i can drop into another hot spot tomorrow

Windy and raining here. Going to wait it out in the truck since it'll be a quiet walk in. No motivation to sit in it!

The walk in was super quiet, the big drops of rain from the leaves hid every sound. I'm in a stand where I had a big chocolate rack outsmart me twice last year. The landowner said he's being seeing a big chocolate rack 10 running around. Definitly one of those days were ya gotta keep your eyes peeled, they can slip in like a ninja! Warm and breezy up here with the moon high in the sky. Gut tells me there was a lot of movement during dark, hopefully they havent laid down yet. Good luck fellas!

No doubt in my mind there's been more movement at night the week than during the day. Midday hours should be the sweet spot right now.

Daylight savings time screwed me up. Didn't have time to get smoked up and drive to the spot I wanted to hunt so I'm in my blind behind the house. Been skunked here every sit so far but I haven't tried a morning hunt yet so we'll try it.

Went out last night and hunted a new stand. Wasn't in the stand 45min and I had an 115" 8pt work his way 10 yds away right past me. My trigger finger was itchy but he got a pass. Ended up seeing a 4pt and 2 does out in a cut corn field. A good night.
