I'm thinking I may use this wind to move into an area that I haven't hunted in a long long time. It borders one of the thickest parts of our property and is a hike to get to by walking down into the big holla and then up a finger ridge to the top. Haven't been there in years either so will pack the climber and try to get into position.

I made a mistake and listen to the threat of 50 MPH dusts and I was sore as hell anyway. So I decided to take the day off.
This morning the wind isn't that bad but I am inside.

I'm in Meigs county, and so far the wind isn't that terrible. Most of it us actually going up over the ridge and not even hitting me.

That may be what I end up doing. There's a spot on one property I hunt that I love on days like this because the wind is broken up by a high wall. So, I may move a set there today and hunt the last hour. Then have it ready for future hunts when the wind is a factor.

Saw two small bucks this morning in Tuscarawas county. Winds not as bad as originally reported. Gonna get back out there this afternoon.

Just had two bucks come into my yard after a big crash. I heard the crash and looked out to see the two bucks looking back into the woods. I tried to sneak out to get my crossbow outa the truck. I have no idea where they went though.

I have mine tucked in a corner up against some hay bales, it was still there on my way out this evening. It should be ok

Mine that was on the ridge was staked down with heavy duty tent stakes and it pulled them all out and rolled it in to the brush. Didn't break it thankfully.

Will find out later on if ours is till intact. It's pretty well blocked from the wind and tied down well. We shall see.

Pretty sure the one my neighbor put up in the field behind my house is in West Virginia now.
