Maybe one of the strangest days I've ever spent in the woods. Backside of a front and no movement from any animals. Very strange.

5 does, 4 of them adults and inside 30 yards. I'm glad we reduced the bag limit, but damn I could use the meat. One was a good 3-4 year old doe too.

3 doe were flat gettin' it through the thicket. Was hoping they hit the open and came my way with something in tow. Must have went the other way.

Sum a biotch ! So close. Same buck came back, following same doe. I was in a diff tree, set up for it. That deer woukd not step out the thick shit. Ripped trees up till dark. 30 yards out. Damn! Still a great hunt

Took a walk through a new area tonight with my .22. Think I found me an area to do a little still hunting for gun week, saw two in the 45 minutes I was in there and I'll be looking for a doe.
