Added 10 more boxes to my arsenal today. Thanks, Steve... That is a crazy-stupid-good deal.

Got to float $100 for 8 to 10 weeks but you can't pass on that. Hell I bought the pumpkin sluggers for a dollar a box MORE last year and thought it was a good deal at 2.99!

As much as I hate Dicks they had the best Black Friday deal on ammo. Buy one get one 50% off. (In store discount)

Accutips were 15.00 for the first box and 7.50 for the second. I got 8 boxes for $95 ($11.87 per box). After the mail in rebate here for $10 a box that's $1.87 a box.

Somebody do me a favor and download this PDF rebate form. I'm nowhere near my PC and don't want it to disappear.

Thanks.

Not too shabby!!!

My savage 220 shoots the accutips better than any other slug I've tried. I don't think they expand as well as some of the copper-solid type bullets...Barnes, Partition Golds, etc... And I don't really care for the green plastic tip and how it fragments on impact... But, it's hard to not shoot a slug that will cloverleaf with three shots at 100 yds. They just flat out fly awesome. I shoot the 2.75" 20-gauge version. 1.5" high at 50 yds, zeroed at 100 yds, and 3" low at 150 yds. Basically I can hold center mass from zero to 150 yds on most deer, which is pretty nice.

How do those Remington shoot? Obviously good.....so what are you shooting them out of. I have a H & R ultra slugger in 20 ga. I've shot the Hornady STTS and Lightfields.....not impressed with either.

I shoot the 3" out of my Savage 220. Similar groups as Jager mentioned. Yet to test them on anything but paper so far. Hopefully Garrett or I test them on a deer here soon.
