Still a great read and memories even though you weren't able to recover him for her. That's the biggest thing that can suck with bowhunting (xbow) that we occasionally have to face. Hopefully she has had time to understand that things happen and hopefully it doesn't keep her from trying again.

When this text came in....It instantly made my day the Best It Could Be! Say what you want....but I never stopped believing this deer was dead. Ric's knowledge of shot placement was convincing for me. Congrats to you both and can't wait for the story and more pics!

Here's the TC video of Karissa's deer walking towards us about 70 yards away! Imagine how you'd feel after thinking you just recorded your daughter shooting this buck with cornstalks hang all over his rack and her burying her well placed bolt right into his chest only to discover you didn't press the record button hard enough to record the event... Ugh!
