Done for the morning! Had 5 come in and missed the one I shot at! Was a little high. Just can't seem to catch a brake!

Sorry man, that sucks. Keep at it. My buddy missed a 20 yard shot early in the season but connected with a buck a month later. Just gotta pick up and keep going.

Yes I practice .
I shoot well enough when I practice that I feel confident .
When I practice I can hit what ever I'm aiming at no problem.

I'm probably just getting nervous and no clue why because i normally don't have this problem!

Take the extra time and breath through your nose. Make sure you are ready to shoot before the deer gives you the opportunity. If the deer are in the field and not spooky take a couple fake shots. Hold steady, practice your breathing and act like you are going to shoot. Once you feel yourself calm let her rip.

Yea I have manage at least 2 deer a year for the last 4 years with no problem. I'm just not sure why I'm getting nervous now.

It's pond. It wraps all the way around this high wall. I'm up a good 60-70 feet overlooking the otherside. This high wall area is known as "Box Cut". One access point up on here and surround by high wall and ponds on 3 sides. It was strip mined years ago.

Guys used to drive this back in the day and could drive it, starting on the north end, walking around one side then spreading out and walk it back to the sanders at the front. The deer would circle around the drivers and head back to the entry point as they walked out to the southern end.

My dad always tells the story how him and two buddies drove it for each other 3 times to try and get the same buck they had seen yo here. They all missed him when it was their turn to stand. lol.
