Thanks for bringing us along with Mason and yourself.... Enjoyed the ride Brock....
Saw 4 bucks, all still holding. One had a deflated balloon stuck on his antlers. All the deer spooked when he came close to them in the field.
"Stuck it out", you're doing it wrong if this is torture. Going hunting is easy, going home is easy, going to weddings and such isn't easy.
He kept walking towards the deer when they'd run off, he couldn't figure out why they didn't like him lol
Sorry if that came out wrong. I'm basing it off my past experiences. Generally, my last day of the season hunts come after logging hundreds of hours, much burnout, and competing with mother nature. Has also been me sitting in the stand with minimal hopes to see a shooter. They tend to travel to piles of corn. For me, it was always sitting it out so I knew I gave it my all. Not saying I didn't enjoy it. Just saying, it was a bit of a relief when it ended.
Either way, I have a lot of respect for those who hunt hard to the last minute.
It's all good. With all the shed bucks I've seen the last two weeks, I can't wait to go try and find some of those!

Seriously, yes hunting is easy but after awhile it can get frustrating and wear on ya! For those who kept at it till the end were deserving for some kudos, that's all.
Yea, I had a little buzz going yesterday... I wasn't trying to bust phils balls either, just trying to point out that this should be fun!
Haha, I hear ya man! You're exactly right! Hunting should be fun and filling the freezer or the wall once in awhile is just icing on the cake! You do make a great point TOO!

Put a 4-500 yard stalk on some Giants this morning, never spooked them but some little guys got in the way. Pretty sure I know where they're bedded so I'll be on them this afternoon hopefully. I've passed some really nice bucks so far and I leave Sunday so hopefully I don't regret it haha. It's been a great hunt though, that's my third stalk of that magnitude.
