"Stuck it out", you're doing it wrong if this is torture. Going hunting is easy, going home is easy, going to weddings and such isn't easy.
Sorry if that came out wrong. I'm basing it off my past experiences. Generally, my last day of the season hunts come after logging hundreds of hours, much burnout, and competing with mother nature. Has also been me sitting in the stand with minimal hopes to see a shooter. They tend to travel to piles of corn. For me, it was always sitting it out so I knew I gave it my all. Not saying I didn't enjoy it. Just saying, it was a bit of a relief when it ended.
Either way, I have a lot of respect for those who hunt hard to the last minute.
