A couple more 10 pointers

Looks like the typical frame genetics are pretty strong around the property I hunt, as are the weak G2 genes. These two guys showed up this past week. I still haven't gotten what I would consider a shooter on camera yet, but it looks like my potential for the 2011 season is pretty good.

At first, I though this next deer was the same 10 point I posted pics of here last weekend... but if you look closely, you'll notice his left G4 and main beam come closely together like a crab claw... whereas the first 10 point's left G4 is straight up off the main beam. So that makes 3 different 10 pointers running around down there this year.

I really hope these guys stick to their schedules and keep hiding during daylight hours. Next season could be awesome if they survive the locals this year.

Nice pic's Jb. Those deer do have great poe. I'm sure their old mans are out there somewhere. Thanks for sharing.

I think they're old man bit the dust last year during gun season. My buddy on the other side of the ridge shot him... Perfectly typical 10 point frame, long spindly tines, short brow tines, and matching forked g2s... he netted right around 154" I think.
