It's in great shape with a leather sling, walnut and blued, with modified 26" barrel and slug barrel. What's it worth to you?
Thank you for the insight. Good info. The V at the end of the serial number indicates a 2 3/4". M at the end indicates a 3" gun.
at most gun shows, they are being priced at $400 to $450 with only one barrel. But they are not selling at those prices. judging by the forearm, its pretty old. the lack of checkering on the stock also tends to show its age or the possibility somebody replaced the stock. You should be able to sell the slug barrel at $100. I think you could find a buyer for the gun with the vr barrel at $300 or more.
I would have a hard time paying $400 for that combo. I know it's a wing aster, but you can buy a new combo for the same.
I'm kind of thinking the same. But, pictures don't always do a gun justice of course. I'm sure it looks much nicer in person. And the 870's of today aren't quite as good as the 870's of old IMO.I would have a hard time paying $400 for that combo. I know it's a wing aster, but you can buy a new combo for the same.
Have you picked up a new one lately?
