Theres a good chance, depending on how long ago it was, that he isn't there or there is someone else in addition to him.

It will suck going in there, but the county offices for Ohio Department of Jib and Family Services have TONS of options. There are many programs available for people who 'want' to work. If a veterans group doesn't help, try this route. There are also websites for people looking for jobs. "Monster" is one I think.

I'll second indeed.com. They have a smartphone app that's pretty slick that I recommend you check out. It saves your job search & lets you quickly see updates of any new postings that match what you put in.

I seen that, I also seen that they had a railroad job listed that is basically a lot of what I do now. I'm gonna check it out more when I get off work tonight.

Thanks Phil, but why would it suck? Just trying to better myself and my family.

It sucks because the Department of Jobs and Family Services is a combination of unemployment and welfare offices. We have to go in there for our nephew's health care stuff because we are his legal guardians. The state handles his health care until he is 18. It simply is not a fun office to go into. Lots of lazy pukes in there complaining and looking for more free handouts while a guy like you truly wants to better himself. You might try their website first. It is fairly decent too.

Lol, thanks for the heads up. That would've pissed me off for sure without having any idea.
