Nice plots, Chad. I've given up on plots, my luck has been terrible. I have better luck hunting the funnels anyways.
This is at our property. I broadcasted this winter rye 2 weeks ago right before a good rain. The greener half of the plot is where I spread about 3 tons of fermented horse shit. I'm amazed at how well it germinated from just being broadcasted on top of the soil.

Thanks! I tossed it out more so as a test to see if this stuff actually germinates like they say it does, and it does lol. I'm going to have to grab another bushel this week as I used a half bushel at our property. I'll plant my other plot first or second week of September, hopefully we get rain!
Thanks phil.The little plot I hauled water to is about 30 yards from this one and is overtaken with weeds lol. I did broadcast winter rye into that one anyway and surprisingly it's coming up. I don't do much hunting on our property, the stuff I do out there is mostly me experimenting and having fun.

Got 56# of winter rye and 5# of medium red clover broadcasted at my in-laws today. Hopefully we get the rain they are calling for this week.
