Guys I am posting this for an old friend and mentor. My friend perry killed this 6 point back in October during our rifle season. Perry is a great guy as well as a role model and I am glad to see him kill this brute of a 6 point. He asked me to score it for him and of course I jumped on it yesterday. The way I have understood over the years is you get 4 mass measurements regardless. I'm sure some will say otherwise and that's ok. Don't focus on my scoring job but rather the good deer. Pictures speak for themselves but don't do the deer any justice whatsoever. Enjoy.

wow, never seen a six pt score that high, exceptionally wide spread, congrats to the hunter,always thought you only get circump measurements between points

Yea it's a really nice deer. The way b and c lays it out is if the g3 and g4 are missing you go half way between g2 to end of beam, then halfway from that mark to end of beam. Again that's just me. Man look at some of the 6 points killed in va. I think they consistently produce giant 6 points.

So an update on this magnificent 6 point. I scored it at 134 4/8 inches and 5-6 years of age hoping it was done correctly. The proud owner of the deer took it to dnr after I removed the hide and the officer there scored it at 134 2/8 and 5 years of age. Heck of a buck. Congrats again Mr Perry. I couldn't wish a deer like that on a better person.
