Stalked within five yards of a nice buck by crawling and sliding on my back tonight. His small fork horn buddy was the only one who gave me a clean shot so no dead deer. Damn this stalking is fun. The big deer I was on this morning were chased across the fence by a cow so I couldn't go after them. It was entertaining to watch but I wasn't too happy with the cow haha

Georgia land of the free loaders
Well guys im locked in for the first time this season. I have spent man of days hunting this land but today is different. Today I type this while holding back the tears. Today is bittersweet. I killed my first deer with a bow on the dirt. I killed my two biggest deer on this dirt. My wife and I spent her first bow hunt ever on this dirt but today is the last time I will ever be able to hunt here. I have hunted here since I was a child. So many nights this land has been in my dreams. It breaks my heart but this land goes for sale next week. My grandmother spent the last 10 years of her life in a nursing home and in return it goes to the state. I hope and pray the new owners will cherish this place and take care of it the way I have. I apologize for the sob story fellas but this one weighs on my heart. I will still give it my all these last few hours and hopefully get to make that long hard drag one more time......
