Just looking to see if anyone had any advise on the farm i hunt

The pink spots are current stand locations and the blue is a creek that sometimes has water in it. The yellow is the property i hunt... any ideas would be apperciated.
The little back fiels with an orange spot in it is also crp. That is where i killed my buck last year.

I would also try to be between old wheat and corn. On the bottom of pic. Catching deer cruising the fence line from woods to crp looking for does.

Unfortunately there's not much of that up my way

It is fading very fast everywhere right now. Farmers were set on 5,10&15 year contracts. With the prices of grain being all over the last couple of years, farmers are seeing that they can make some better money rolling the dice on grain crops. Therefore, not renewing CRP contracts. I personally think the program worked, they just need to redo/rethink the numbers to better match today's grain numbers.

Did a little scouting today in the rain and stumbled across a pretty good section. Was wondering if you guys would hunt any ways im not thinking about.

First I found this rub so i looked around a bit more and found a couple more in the same area. Here is a map of what i found.

The orange are 4 wheeler trails, pink are scrapes, yellow are rubs, red are entry/exit points from a thicket and blue is the thicket. On the north(the top of the picture) is the neighbors property about 25 yds from the edge of the thicket. West is a picked corn field. South is random little thick spots in a fairy open section of maple and oak trees. East is mostly open with another bedding area about 200 yds farther away. I think i would like to hunt with either a south wind and set up off the the south east side of the thicket or an east wind and set up in about the same southeast side of the thicket. Am i thinking this the right way or am i way off. Never exclusively buck hunted always just deer hunted any help/ideas would be helpful thanks.

It looks to me that the activity is centered around the thick area. Find out where the preferred food source is and figure out a way to get between it and the blue square. Figure out your best entry/exit to that stand and hunt it smart. Also hang a rut set on the downwind edge of that thick stuff in an area that will pinch down any cruising bucks scent checking the thicket.
