Slow...squirrels just started moving but now it is raining pretty good. May take off shortly and come back tonight.

So hot this afternoon I didn't want stink up one of my spots so I went in blind and stumbled on a nice bench 1/3 of the way down on a point. There's corn about 200 yards up the ridge and hickory/ white oaks on this bench. Lots of fresh rubs and heavy trails. I'm hoping this is a staging area for deer heading to the corn. Hopefully the mosquitoes die down and it cools off!

We've been enjoying a steady rain for a couple of hours. There is a break of probably 2 hours coming so we are heading to the blind. Should be fun.

My other truck needed service today and it's still at my buddy's shop due to me being to lazy to pick it up. My camcorder and flashlight are in that truck! I guess if anything good happens I'll try to video w my phone.

You two are gonna be covered up in deer. I hope a couple big ones come out! What a perfect evening...your view is much better than mine.

The view here has greatly improved! Having access to live radar is just cool.

I'm covered up in deer. Just had 2 big bodied deer move through. Too dark to see if they had head gear or not.
I could feel it...it was a perfect evening around here. I can't wait to here what Brock has to say.
Had somewhat of an encounter with the big 9 I've been eyeing up. He came out about 150 yards away. What hurts is I was gonna sit where he came out and I chose wrong.
Not sure I can go tomorrow and if I can, not sure I wanna risk hitting him in the rain. Supposed to be a wet one.
