I was nervous as we came down the driveway last night. I have a tree that needs to come down, two actually. Both will reach the house if they fall the way they are leaning. One will take out my wife's car also. I keep tellin her to pack by the garage...I'm sure you all are well aware of how well wife's listen.

A buddy called me last night around 6:30 and said he had a nice buck pushing Does around his feeder. I was resigned to staying in, but decided to cruise real quick. Sure as shit, the deer were out everywhere. Some real nice bucks.Didnt matter that is was a driving rain. I got to my spot where I can see my Camera stand, and sure as shit, there is my giant 8 point walking straight out away from my stand. Hope he decides to eat early again tonight

I figured they'd be moving good. A buddy of mine was out last evening and didn't see shit though. He said he saw his target buck in the field on Thursday evening. I was surprised he got skunked, just felt like a good night to me.
