I havent seen a deer since yesterday morning. I'm about burnt out for the weekend. However, a buck might be dead. I think my cousin got it done. Gunna sit for a bit longer then try to help track.

Passed on a nice up and coming 8 point. Talked myself out of ending my season. He survives the year he will be a big boy next year..

Nothing yet this morning. Spent 11.5 hours in the tree yesterday and likely same today. Saw five yesterday, including one decent ten point. Also heard one grunting and chasing hard at 2:00 pm but never did see him.

Buck down at the farm. Cousin shot it and we found him. Nice 8pt and his first buck ever and he did it with a Mathews! I'll post pictures and write up later

Skunked this morning, the thought of coffee and waffles won out over a nice cold but deerless morning... Neighboring property had 0 movement as well with 2 guys hunting it....
Back out this afternoon...

Skunked. Got a call from a buddy that he shot an 8. Said he was pretty sure it hit back a little. I climbed down and we are giving it a few hours before heading out to track.

It won't let post a new thread for some reason so I'll post it here, it's a late post anyways. I stuck a nice 10 on Veterans Day. Hit him high at 20 yards and of course he dove into the crick behind me, lol. I didn't weigh him but he's got some weight. Older buck, he wasn't my target but I'm happy nonetheless. To me he's a great buck and he'll do fine on the table! I'll get pics up when I can. It had been two years and 1 day since the last time I shot I buck, a Marine Corps bday buck then a Veterans Day buck.

Awesome!!! On the ten pointer! Well I don't know why because I'm starting to forget what deer look like because I haven't seen one for so long but I'm heading out for the last four hours of the day. Maybe the super moon will get them moving lol.

I actually think this "super" moon is hurting our sightings....
