Three new bucks showed on camera. Nothing while on stand this morning but after viewing cam pics I am feeling better.

Yes sir it will. He was 35 yards from my stand yesterday morning. TOO bad I was working. Lol. I am pretty sure he must be from the same gene pool as the one I shot last weekend and couldn't find. Racks are almost identical in shape. This one is bigger and doesn't have split brows. That'll keep you after it!!!! That's a dandy
Damn! Looks like that one will make the book! I'll bet your buddy is glad you talked him in to staying. What did he green score?
View attachment 49628One of my cousins killed this big 8 this evening. I saw a big 140-150ish 10 point guarding a doe in my dads field around 5:15.
In the stand all day and didn't see anything but one country block away and my buddy got a nice one. We had great activity a week ago and then nothing for six days. We were texting back and forth and around three he says fug this shit I'm going home to rake leaves. I talk him into staying and at 4:1View attachment 496368 he shoots this ten pointer.

Coshocton County this past weekend and rut activity was still pretty slow on our property. Saw 4 small bucks cruising. Called in another 2 young ones with a doe bleat. Scrapes are still being hit, but not during daylight. Either the big boys are already on lock down or they haven't quite gone "full blown" yet, at least in our area.
Same here. Best year for rutting activity in my part of Washington County in the 11 years I've been on this farm.Saw alot more activity in Washington County this past weekend. Saw several new scrapes and saw some chasing and cruising. My trail cams also show some new bucks and daylight movement. Hoping it continues thru the youth gun season this weekend.
