Lot's of pictures over the years he was always one step ahead of me. Any day time pictures of him I was in a different stand. This year was different he started slipping and a week ago today I made it happen. I passed on a lot of good deer knowing what I had around. Do you think his home range got smaller? Any changes to the property that maybe helped? Lots of things can change in 4 years, which is what I'm seeing on our farm right now.

His home range was I would say a mile and that was it I ran 5 trails cams to get all the info I could on him u know they always say don't over hunt one stand and I agree but rt now with the rut I full swing hunt and hunt hard. I was speaking in and checking my cameras around one in the afternoon and he started showing up so I knew if he was there in the am he would be back. I hunted that stand for over a week straight b4 I got him. Am and pm sits

Happens a lot. I've shot several deer over the years with old wounds and broadheads stuck in them.
