Crazy how quite it's been around here. I'm hunting an area that gets lots of pressure and I've only heard 10 shots all morning and none since 9
I'm in too. No shots = boring. I refreshed a mineral site to get back on later on. I had to go in & make an apt for the vet in a few hours anyhow. Good luck everyone !

That ain't true! I've got a solid chance at seeing deer from my kitchen. Sitting here at Big Boy though...not so sure. Lol
Damn that makes me hungry still only have heard a few shots got out of were we where and still have ever yet to see anything
Two buddies just dropped doe's here. Have heard more shots in the last twenty minutes than all morning.
Lots of shooting, way over the 30 volley mark.... Guy who hunts the neighbors property dropped a big fat doe @10:00... didn't see anything at all... Heading over in a little bit to meet up with Sam for some afternoon drives....

Well this figures. I have a bit of time before going to the vet & I just came back out, for a bit, sitting next to my popup & 7 ptr came running in grunting. I didn't see any deer beforehand & he didn't see me.
I stopped at a RR tracks. Had a guy in front of me throw his truck in reverse and run into me. I could see him in his mirrors. He had his binoculars up to his eyes watching a deer as he backed into me. What a bunch of idiots out there. Not even safe while driving my vehicle. These same people are carrying guns into the woods. This kind of crap is exactly why I hesitate to take my son into the woods.
