Lots of shooting. We only saw 5 and they never entered my property. It's been raining steady and isn't going to stop.

Man! Does anyone gun hunt anymore? I'm coming outta my flu bug, just took a drive and am not seeing anyone out who appears to be hunting. No gun shots either around my spot. None. Strange

We have 10 total in our camp today. The neighboring properties either are not hunting much or are just not seeing much. Probably heard a dozen shots this morning. At least seven came from this property. 4 deer hanging in the barn now here. Usually sounds like a war opening morning but not today. I am back in the stand. Hoping for the best. It's TOO warm.

I stopped at a RR tracks. Had a guy in front of me throw his truck in reverse and run into me. I could see him in his mirrors. He had his binoculars up to his eyes watching a deer as he backed into me. What a bunch of idiots out there. Not even safe while driving my vehicle. These same people are carrying guns into the woods. This kind of crap is exactly why I hesitate to take my son into the woods.

High road. Take the high road. If he damaged my vehicle he was in the wrong. Why would i be outraged? He was the one in the wrong. Thumping on him would just make me look like an idiot.

Odnr will blame low kill on weather[emoji23]

Yep they will blame something Chad.
How about what we always end up talking about...the deer numbers just aren't there in most areas.
I wanted to shoot a doe this late season with my recurve but have decided not to do it this yr.
Just not seeing the number of deer not just this yr but the last several yr's.
I remember the big bitch fest we had about the ODNR a few yr's back and they finally backed off on the tags in most areas, i enjoy venison and really wanted to shoot a doe but will not.
Now how many of us doing all that bitching back then are out trying to shoot does this season?
