2 day gun season

Yep what Jesse said, nothing but ice on the roadways here and cars in the ditch and wrecks on my way into work at midnight.
Sat in traffic for an hour and half cause of wrecks.
Be careful gettin in those stands and good luck.

You Ohio boys get to experience the fun of ice, we get ice probably 1 time almost every winter in North Carolina and it sucks!!!

Had to try it this morning but I'm done for today. Rained pretty steady and my truck/porch/roads were all a solid block of ice. Saw three deer ice skating across the road on my way over there but that was it. Lots of fresh tracks but I'm thinking if anything was back there we probably scared it off on the way back.

Down in Kentucky it's 60 degrees. I am not super happy that this is probably my last day for the year lol. First day I've been able to get out since September too

Just got in the blind half an hour ago. While walking up to the blind i had to step back for a bit because of 15 turkeys hanging out front of my blind 25 yards. Waited for them to leave it only took 10 mins then by the time i got to the blind they spotted me about 150 yards. I notice top of the blind were down because of the ice. I had to break em quietly.

We seen about 35 deer today. Crunchy snow made it tougher for quality setups. I did manage to kill a button buck. We had a pretty big buck and 2 smaller ones outsmart us and run out behind us as we were setting up. Had someone been lazy and stayed in the truck, they could have seen them coming for a few minutes and killed one easily. Couple shitty shots in our group missed some Does broadside standing still at 40 yards, 3 times, haha. Back at it tomorrow
