Couple of real nice deer!
Side note: you mentioned changing bullets from the SST to something else. For blood trails, I think is what you said. What did you change to again? Do you have any pics of the entrance and exit (if it had an exit)?
I switched from TC 250 grain Shockwaves to Barnes 290 grain TMZ and have been more than pleased. I also had a few friends who switched to them and they too have been very satisfied. I didn't take any pics of the entrance/exit, but did take a video of the 2 blood trails from the does I shot last month. It was too dark for the buck I shot, but it did let out lots of blood on him. I don't know how to post a video but can text them to you if you shoot me your cell #.
There was no fragmentation. The quality of the uploaded video is not the best. The shots were quartering away and both opposite shoulders were broken. And no exit holes.
I really didn't notice any difference in accuracy between them. I ain't no sharpshooter but average about a 2 inch group at 100yds with either. The TMZs expand really well seems to be the difference. U can also get an attachment for the end of your ramrod to avoid deforming the tip of the sabot to improve accuracy.
