What about opinions on dead heads? This one has some moss grown on it and I kinda like it. My wife wants to clean it up or at least clean the skull and leave the antlers with the green look.

I don't like the green being left on, I try to clean them as good as I can.

Here's a deadhead painted with satin white and antlers stained with red oak minwax. The minwax came out too dark IMO, so I'd go with a lighter color.
