Kody had one in his sites this morning. It only showed it's head a couple times, but stayed out 40 yards or more.
He would peak his head up then lower it. Not a good shot opportunity.
All of a sudden he was gone. Bummer...

After the report from my dad, he didn't miss. He just didn't get enough of it. I guess he rolled it then it got up and flew away.

I for one have NEVER missed a bird. I have had a lot of guns that shot crocked but never my doins. lol . I know the sick feeling that poor kid had to of had in his belly, but just let him know we ALL do it. Good luck to him in this last week.

One thing that I was glad to hear was that the 12 guage didn't bother him. He's only 10, but he handles the gun really well. I figured it would knock him on his can with the turkey load in it. He's only practiced with regular bird shot in it.
