I agree that it's stupid to even have preseason polls to begin with! Shouldn't rank anyone till teams play their non-conference and 2 conference games then shuffle the deck and rank em! Those scheduling cupcakes or playing in a weaker conference will be exposed and ranked accordingly.

I don't know about number 2 because I have no idea what other teams have gained or lost. I do know the Buckeyes were the youngest team in college ball last year. They have a lot of seasoned sophomores and juniors now. That makes me smile. I'm also fairly positive Urban brought in some more solid players. That makes me smile.

The other thing I am certain about is Alabama has been cherry picking the prison teams for years. They will likely have a tough bunch of thugs on the field. (Well maybe I made this part up just to get Joe fired up a little.)

That don't bother me any. Nobody watches ivy league games for a reason, recruit winners and teach them how to get away with shit.
