I have alot of comments about the game today but that was an issue to me. That boy deserved to score a TD. He was the only thing that impressed me about the offense.I know they are a second half team but it doesn't make it any less frustrating. I'll take the win and give them the second half of the game. They played well those last two quarters. I wish they would've let that Rookie Dobbins score a TD for his efforts today.
This is why i hate preseason rankings especially when it comes to OSU. #3 FSU played a hell of a game against #1 Alabama but lost. And #2 OSU played like an absolute shit show against a totally unranked team. But yet FSU who clearly played a way better game and is more talented will fall in the rankings and OSU will remain in the number 2 slot. Looks like the bucks will once again benefit from coming in overranked and playing a cupcake.
Even if they dropped FSU one position that would move up USC who barely beat cupcake unranked western Michigan. That ain't right. USC shouldn't be rewarded for barely beating an unranked cupcake while FSU is punished for losing to number 1 bama. The next team to even play a ranked team was number 11 Michigan who played number 17 Florida that just suspended 10 players. And then you have OSU who IMO played a far shittier game against an unranked indiana that FSU played against bama, and they will sit in the number 2 slot due to being overranked coming in then playing a cupcake.Yep, totally agree!!!
Even if a SEC or ACC team loses, they should maintain their ranking. Or even better, move up if they lose against an ACC or SEC opponent.
Good, sound logic.
I watched the game. Neither team impressed me.
I wouldn't be surprised if Indian surprised some people and sneaks into the top 25 by mid season. They're a solid team and always seem to give us a run for our money. We will see what OSU truely has to offer next weekend when the Sooners come to town. Also I'd like to see Penn State move up in the rankings. Sure they played a nobody too, but they're gonna be the Big 10 champ I'd say.
IMO, Penn State may have been the luckiest team ever last year. They mastered the "Chuck and Luck" offense last year, where McSorely basically heaved up 50/50 balls and his recievers came down with right around 75% of them. They have the best RB in the country, IMO. Not solf on the rest of their team or their coachAlso I'd like to see Penn State move up in the rankings. Sure they played a nobody too, but they're gonna be the Big 10 champ I'd say.
