Annual TOO Muzzy Hunt (Vinton Furnace): Discussion Thread

I'm not camping and am fine with being declared a pussy because of it! Partially due to cold (overnight low of 4), partially due to a desire to try and get Tracie on a deer Saturday since we can't hunt the remaining 3 days of the season.
Anyone who wishes to camp, carry on. Those who just want to do what's been done in the past, let's plan to meet up between 8-9AM on Sunday. I still think meeting at the Equine Area makes sense as we will cover some new ground this year and the stuff to the west of the Equine Area offers what should be a better bit of hunting than what we have done in the past.
Coordinates to meeting location are: 39.715054, -81.762729

That's all we do with the exception of the guys who sit the last hour of daylight.
Yep. I'll do up a big thing of chili. Someone can bring cheese, sour cream, PB&J makings, etc. Anything else folks can think of it great too.
Might be useful for us to get a head count. I can think of 7 committees right now.

I'm going to have to cancel. My truck just started running like shit the other day, and I have too many projects going on the lathe, along with a trap line to run, and a doe I need in the freezer.

Unfortunately not. I'm going to have to find a new to me truck pretty damn soon.
Yea I am expecting my Yukon to die anytime. It only had 312k on it. The oil pump is wearing out and it doesn’t make any pressure at idle until it is really warm. Plus I have a stuck lifter, but it only makes a clicking sound, been doing that for well over 30k.
If it's just 4 of us, we still want to do this and if so, maybe pick a location a little closer to you guys? Maybe Vinton Furnance, Strouds or some WNF somehwere near the 32 corridor.

This Sunday is the boys’ first practice for their travel baseball team out of Pittsburgh. I think I gotta go. Looks like my decision was made easier. If the group rebounds I may still be able to pull it off.

I'm in for meeting up Sunday. Going to be hunting local thurs-sat. I'm all about a closer drive!
I will be in just let me know, if not we should still meet up at some point and shoot the shit. I have been promised this by an unnamed person in the past. [emoji12]
