Thats a view of the inside of my Weber Smokey Mountain. The coals are sitting on the grill grates. I bought an extra to get a cross section as seen.

Ran over to columbiana county (land of the Giants) today to help J hang his snares. Also got to finally meet ol Dickie to give him his call and strikers, now that's a guy I could sit around and bullshit with all day! Also got to meet Austin and Eric, pretty sure all of us will be chasing birds together this spring!

Was a great day to be outdoors.... Started the day squirrel hunting with Dickie, Eric and AJ and of course Butch the insane squirrel hating dog lol....
Then off to setup snares with Chad and the crew came along to offer moral support as well as picking up calls and strikers.
With snares all setup and back too the truck to swap some more stories then off in our separate directions with Chad and I heading to go call some coyotes.
We did t have any luck, but still had a good time and as always it’s a pleasure hanging out with Chad. Weather shooting groundhogs, searching for dead deerz or just shooting the shit. Chad made some new acquaintances and I got to hear some top notch strikers against some pretty good pot calls.... oh and set some neckties for yotes lol

Some of you know this guy as Alphamax. Well, today he was awarded teacher of the year for 2nd grade in a nationwide school system.

Congratulations, Nick! Well deserved.

Someone needs to grab this little shit by his ear and make him come say thanks! Hell of an accomplishment!!!

Hell of a year for you buddy. Not sure how you kill a target buck and dedicate yourself to those kids all at the same time. I’d say you have a gift. Keep on keeping on!

Scored some new ground to hunt. 80 acres with potential access to a couple hundred.

The opportunity has been there, but the place is a bit longer of a drive then I'm used to. 25 minutes or so. That really ain't shit. I've just been spoiled.

I made the call yesterday and got the green light. Going to head out for a shed hunt/hike later this week with my buddy who owns it. It Hasn't been hunted in a long time and they seemed excited about it as I was. [emoji1360]

I figure I best get on the horn and make sure I have options heading into next season.
