Sad thing is I have no pics of the Snook. I was admittedly having a hard time getting them in and off the hook by myself let alone beaching them and getting a pic. I have one but don't know if it is on my phone, wifes phone, my camera, etc....

P.S. Josh that is a HUGE red! Nice...

Great pics... it's making me second guess my Tennesse Mountain vacation to Pidgeon Forge. We did the Outer Banks two years ago and Ocean Isle, NC last year. In a nutshell, it's been the beach every year. I was craving something different, but I think I may miss scenes like these.

By the way, if you get a chance at Ocean Isle, do it! It's the Outer Banks secluded beach, but with Myrtle only 25 minutes away if your looking for something to do.

Thanks for the Ocean Isle tip Cotty. We do one or two big vacations a year and I am always looking for something new. Don't know when each one is happening but for family vacations these are on the short list in no particular order:

Hawaii again
Mexico if it ever gets a little more stable
OBX again
the Keys
Kalifornia coast
South Padre Island area
St. Croix area

The drive to Ocean Isle is a lot better than OBX. Ocean Isle is all house rentals like OBX and secluded as well. We caught lots of sharks last year. That was pretty cool. Then, when the kids needed entertained for a day, we headed to Myrtle to see the sights.

Those are awesome pictures from both of you guys. We are heading down sometime in July. Going to S Carolina someplace my wife picked out. I am dreading it. I don't really golf. We are going with my sister and her family. Another story in itself. My wife plans on sitting on the beach everyday staring at the friggin' waves. 13-14hrs in the truck with the kids complaining just so we can stare at the f-n water. Cotty- I will trade you. You can head to the beach with my wife and kids. I love the mountains!

Isle of Palms. Just came to me. I think this is where we are staying.

I think Isle of Palms is near Charleston. I could be wrong though.
I came across that looking for Ocean Isle. If it is near Charleston, be sure to go see Ft. Sumter if you like history at all. Also, the battleship Yorktown is there. Good stuff...

I went to Fort Sumter bout 40 years ago. It was well preserved back then always wondered how it looks now.
Hicks I know what you mean. Staring at the water and watching grandkids will be pretty mundain.
Then again, I can always sneak offf to the Bass Pro Shop. And do a little surf fishin.
And I brought along those 2 bottles just in case we get some free time......:smiley_banana:

I am thinking I need to get the old Norton out of the garage and throw her in the truck. i think cruising the area on a 74 Norton Commando sounds like a lot more fun than picking sand out of my butt crack!
