He drives a ford, he cant be all that smart.
Its his mommy's truck. His BIL is one of my bosses. Great dude, Army guy. He absolutely despises the air this guy breathes. Has told him that his sister would be better off if he had an unfortunate accident. And yes, he's a dick, doesn't give a fugg about others. All that being said, Nate and I are gonna play nice and try to talk to him.

Greyson and I had our first deer hunt together last evening. Acrion was slow inside the woods. No wifi meant only a couple games to play on his tablet. It didnt matter. He had so much fun listening and watching and talking, that he only played it for maybe 20 minutes. Shortly after we got in blind, they were running beans on both sides of the woods. So it was kinda noisy. I did takes Giles advice and pulled the old "shhh, listen", then i ripped a big fart. That was a good ten minutes of him giggling. We got out when woods was dark. As soon as we got to edge, theres a buck out in the beans maybe 100 yards. Greyson was so giddy and nervous watching that buck, he could barely sit still. Eventually he fed off and we were able to slip out. All in all, we had a freaking blast.

Went out Saturday. Didn't get skunked but didn't have any shot opportunities either. I'll get back in the stand Friday and Saturday and see what I can find.

Anybody else heading out?

I hunted both days opening weekend and put in a good bit of effort. Had an opportunity at some does but I was buck hunting. Unfortunately the big boys never showed themselves and haven't came up on my trail cams either.

I only went out on Saturday evening. Ended up seeing roughly a dozen, of those, 5 were bucks. Sadly, all of them were 1.5-2.5 year olds. I did get to watch them all spar with each other, which made the trip out well worth it. With the temps predicted in the 7 day, I doubt I'll be in a tree or blind anytime soon.
