Not sure what’s happened Ric... I never have problems getting pics this time of year. That’s running one cam, I have 3 on this 6 acres and nothing. Thinking about buying my tag and headed to public land, just to get the hell off the couch! Gotta be some hope in my future somewhere...might just end up with a freezer full of rat meat.

Ugh, that really sucks Dave! I’ve been there a lot the past 2-3 years over this way. Getting a bit better as far as deer numbers but not alarmingly better. Baby steps.....👍🏻

That was a waste of time...not one pic of anything besides me.

I'd say that is a disappointing card pull for sure. Dang.

I'm getting closer. Might buy a tag before long. Need to get thru this show weekend

Been 3 weeks since I’ve got a pic. I’d be a fool to take anything off this property. Unless a bunch show up when the crops come off...it ain’t looking good.

Correct me if I'm wrong Dave, but didn't you have a decent amount of deer that were visible last year?

You are correct. Always have good numbers around the house until after youth season.

I did find a dead deer that had been setting a long time at the end of the season. EHD might have hit this area too. I know it hammered my other spot 20 miles away.

Guy up the road can’t seem to get any pics or anything either.

That's not a good sign. Hopefully as things ramp up in the woods some will wonder back to your slice of the pie.

Usually have a doe with triplets and a doe with twins around. Maddy shot one of the triplets last year, that’s it. This year a few weeks back I got a couple of pics of a doe with a fawn. I really hope they’re just in the corn and have no reason to come to this side of the creek right now. Otherwise, I’ll be submitting a TC picture of myself crying for the contest.

Just pulled my card behind the house, good doe numbers and 8 different bucks on a week soak. Bucks were all young but had some good potential. As soon as I get my bow back and it cools off some I will start getting after it.

I plan to check the cam again on Friday and see if any buck activity is pushing legal time. The forecast, for now, is showing some promise for general deer movement this weekend.

I have a busy weekend at work and the boss hasn't let me know if I'll be working OT yet or not. If I'm not working my ass will be in a stand with the temps predicted for Friday and Saturday.

UPDATE*****

I did take some of your guys advice, and talked to the guy that was kinda screwing things up. I started off trying to be nice, but as expected he wasnt hearing it. He didn't seem to care that he wasnt supposed to be on our part of the farm, or about driving past my vehicle just to park out in the open. After a brief argument, i pulled away pissed off. I stopped in the middle of the lane, walked back to him and tried again. An hour and a half later peace had been made. We exchanged numbers, to let eachother know when we would be out. He invited me to hunt some killer property he has in another county. He just texted me this past weekend to let me know he intended to take his stand down. He's only after massive deer and he hasn't seen any. He's a real serious coyote hunter. He sells sounds, videos, etc.. Gets free gear thrown his way. Dude has night thermal scopes that record what he's seeing. He actually showed me video and gave me the location where the groups of the 5 year old plus bucks hang out til rut. The videos of those monsters were impressive to say the least.

So after all that, he still insists that the deer dont care about vehicles out in the open, but i will take it as a win

Sounds like you gave your all to extend the olive branch and come to an agreement. Hope it turns out positive and you gain some more ground. Sounds like it might not be worth it if you have to deal with him. lol
