I wouldn't buy another stealth cam. I bought one ..and a couple buddies as well when dicks had a camera trade in thing . Absolute worst camera I've ever had. It just takes off randomly taking pictures . And will take several hundred then stop . Then start doing the same thing several hours later . My buddies are having the same problem. It started within a month of using them

I've had good luck with Bushnell . In fact if I could afford them that would be all I would run.
I run a Hodge podge of different cameras tho.

I’ve had over a dozen Bushnell trophy cams over the years. They have outstanding battery life using lithium batteries and take pretty good pictures. What I can’t stand is that they have a 2 year warranty....and they ALWAYS break shortly after the 2 year mark. I haven’t had one last for three seasons. I could see if I got a lemon or two, but over a dozen and they all crap out after 2 years. I still use one in Ohio because of the great battery life, but after the second season, I stop at cabelas on the way out to Ohio and buy a new one to replace the one that I know is defective. Last month when I was out in Ohio, when I swapped sd cards, it was making a clicking sound for a few seconds (a sign that it’s on its way out) and when I checked the sd card on the computer when I got home, the pics were separated into four different files instead of one large one (another sign that it’s on it’s way out). I know this from previous cams I’ve had problems with. So, this spring I’ll be getting another one. I usually get them from a bin that they have the cameras on sale for around $100, so I look at it as a $50 per year expense. I would change brands but still haven’t found a camera that will last 10-12 months on a set of 8 aa lithium batteries.

I agree with you sg . Hers my qualm.I bought the two top of the line cameras forget the year the black out oops or what ever then the aggressor or some shit.

I sent one camera back that broke under warranty. They sent me an 80 dollar camera back in return. When I paid over two hundred for the camera. I was told well “sir” we came across a better deal on parts. We’re no longer “making” the camera you had. Since we came across parts at a better deal.

Me well why didn’t you send me three of those cameras. Well sir agin we got a good deal on parts. Me well I can buy the camera for 80 dollars on eBay right now. You get the jist. Then the other one I got was just junk. I’ve had 5 bushnells break on me.

I’ll be damned if I’m gonna spend top dollar have one break then get sent an 80 dollar camera back.

Carpn/sgt they are god cameras when they work by all means they just don’t last and customer service sucks.

I’m on my 3rd year with a browning and it’s still working great. That’s my complaint.

By far the best cameras I've owned are Brownings... Had a Bushnell and had nothing but problems with it.. My friend owned several Stealth Cams and all are in the garbage now... I ran 2 Moultrie A30I cameras in Illinois all summer and was happy with battery life and picture quality...

I just got done programming two of these cameras. The setup was nothing but sweet and simple! Its a gamble.... but I ordered 4 more because of that alone.
